Category gap
A critical IT or cybersecurity category temporarily lacks clear senior ownership.
Interim mandates & Procurement Sprints
I lead demanding category mandates and clearly scoped RFx, renewal and negotiation projects — senior-led.
When responsibility cannot wait
Not every procurement challenge needs a transformation programme. Some require experienced ownership, a clear decision and disciplined execution.
A critical IT or cybersecurity category temporarily lacks clear senior ownership.
Business, IT and Security need to carry requirements, evaluation criteria and negotiation strategy together.
A renewal or price increase is approaching without a reliable usage, market and contract baseline.
Framework agreements, the vendor landscape or commercial responsibilities need to be put in order quickly.
You are buying a service for the first time and need an experienced partner at your side.
Two clear models
An embedded mandate for ongoing ownership — or a clearly scoped sprint with a defined outcome.
01 · Embedded mandate
Senior responsibility within your procurement team for IT, software/SaaS or cybersecurity.
02 · Defined assignment
One RFx, a SaaS renewal, a framework agreement or a negotiation programme — with clear milestones.
Experience
Category work, RFx, supplier and contract management in a complex international environment.
Leadership and development of a group-wide procurement organisation in a fast-moving technology business.
International categories, stakeholder alignment and negotiations in a global industrial group.
Complex services, consulting, HR and commercial negotiations in telecommunications.
Category scope
A real cross-section of current and past mandates in technology procurement: security, software & data, cloud, MarTech and IT services. Mostly renewals and renegotiations, complemented by competitive RFx.
The focus: technical depth, risk assessment and complex commercial models — from endpoint protection to offensive security.
Vendor names are not listed publicly for confidentiality reasons. I discuss concrete references confidentially in a first call.
The first 30 days
An assignment does not start with activity for its own sake. It starts with a reliable view of decisions, risk and ownership.
Map stakeholders, contracts, suppliers, data, renewals and live decisions.
Structure risk, fast levers and the relevant sourcing and negotiation pipeline.
Move the most important RFx, renewal and supplier topics forward with clear governance.
Document decisions, clarify ownership and make the handover predictable.
Modern execution
I am a strong advocate and ambassador for AI in procurement processes. AI supports analysis and documentation — accountability, negotiation and procurement decisions remain human.
